PROCESSING YOUR ORDER
Our aim here at Kids Cavern is to process your order as quickly as possible. We try to have your order dispatched within 2 working days from when your initial order is placed (this however does not include weekends or bank holidays)
Your online transaction is an ‘instant’ payment, this means that orders are charged in full at the time of purchase. If an item is out of stock it will be refunded back onto your card, our bank give an estimated 48 hours clearance window from the time of refund.
We are unable to change your delivery address under any circumstances; this is for the safety of our customers to prevent any fraud.
If you order online you will ‘NOT’ be able to collect in our stores.
We are also unable to accept telephone orders due to the Data Protection Act 1998; we are sorry for any inconvenience that this will cause but must stress that our reasoning for this change is for the protection of our customers.
When you place your order online your billing address must be verified through the SagePay (Lloyds) Address Verification system (AVS) and your credit card security value must match (CV2)
This AVS and CS2 system is provided by SagePay (Lloyds) and is UK standard system which online retailers use to authenticate its customers details. Although your transaction ‘may’ authorise if either your AVS and CV2 values do not match, we will not process your order further and you will be contacted by a member of staff here at Kids Cavern; this will be by either email or telephone and you will need to contact your bank to rectify any data issues the National database holds about you
If both your AVS and CV2 values do not match we will not be able to process your order further and your order will be cancelled from our end and an email sent to verify this cancellation
YOUR DETAILS
Your credit card information is encrypted which means that ONLY the receiver of the information (i.e. kidscavern.co.uk) can read this information. To do this we use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128 bit encryption technology (when in use you will see the padlock at the bottom of the browser) which is the recognised standard for secure transactions.
Please note that general email correspondence is not encrypted and is, therefore, not considered a secure means of sending credit card details.

Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited mail as a result of ordering from kidscavern.co.uk the only information we collect about you is as given when you register or order. This information is used to compile a database for mailing our newsletter and any special offers or promotions to our customers. It is our policy not to sell or pass any of this information to any other organisations. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
PRICING
All prices are in U.K sterling so for your convenience we have included a currency converter. All prices shown are the actual prices - upon receiving and processing your order we then only add the appropriate postage & packaging.
When paying for your purchases with a credit/debit card please rest assured that your transactions will be 100% safe when using the secure sagepay automatic payment system, for added security you will also be required to complete the 3D secure of our payment system; this is for added security and highly recommend to speed your order process.
We use a secure server which encrypts transaction details to protect credit card information. When in the shopping area of the site, you'll see a padlock symbol in the bottom of your browser window, indicating it is a secure area. Kids Cavern is approaching its 22nd year and has succeeded in building a trustworthy and reputable company.
SIZING
Because we stock designers from all over the globe some of the sizes may vary. We have tried to simplify this by sizing in year's i.e., 2 years = Average size of a two-year-old. This is only a guide however, and you do need to buy bigger sometimes. A good idea to be sure is to run a tape measure, measuring the width and length, over a garment that the child already owns. You can e-mail this information to us, including details of the item/s you would like to purchase, and we will use this information to select the right size.

WASHING
Please adhere to the instructions on the label of garments. If it states to wash at 30 degrees do not wash at 40 degrees, although this may seem like a slight difference it could cause the garment to run (colour to come out). Do not hand wash unless instructed to do so, a common mistake is to think hand washing is gentler and can't harm clothes, wrong. You would be surprised at how much heat your hands can take 30-40 degrees is only luke-warm and a high temperature wash could cause problems with the garment.
REFUNDS
We offer a no quibble refund policy. Return within 21 days of receiving your purchase and we will exchange or refund providing the goods have been unworn with all labels still attached and undamaged.

however exchange the item with in 2 weeks of purchase if you are not
completely satisfied.
Please also be aware that refunds do not apply to underwear or tights due to hygiene reasons
Returns postage must be paid by the customer. Please inform us prior to sending a return by emailing us with the product reference number and your details to: sales@kidscavern.co.uk.
